Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with the letters in uppercase like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was made for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry announced her new song Runaway. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes' first musical moment was when she stumbled across a miniature piano hidden in the basement, and becoming enthralled by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to use music for the sake of personal development, and not as a way of earning money or to pursue to pursue an interest. In the end, she began writing songs of her own. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. Her mom encouraged her to play her music publicly, not so that she could achieve fame, but rather to help others realize how important they are and what they can do to make a difference in the world. She was suggested by her mother to be able to perform her music publicly in order in order to make people aware of their importance and the ways they could impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora wasn't a dream. She says she just likes writing music. For her, music is the most effective method to experience anything.
