Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished psychologist since 1993. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who initiating the contemporary scientific study of children's witness memory as well as child victimes as witness in legal contexts. Professor Goodman, who has numerous research publications as well as numerous awards to her credit she is also the winner of numerous international and national prizes. She has been a consultant to numerous organizations and government officials across the world on policies as well as research on children who are victims of the justice system. She is also a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has been president of three divisions (Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology-Law Society, and Division Developmental Psychology) and one Section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
