Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo on the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the first moments in her childhood, like attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. The couple renewed their vows April 10th 2011 at Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk was blessed with an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May of 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk fell pregnant during the final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the set of the show. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren Palmer (Zoie) one of their most favored television couples. Entertainment Television.
